Step by Step Christmas Sleigh Drawing Instructions
Step 1 – Draw the Sleigh’s Top Curve
Start with a long, wavy line that flows up and down. This will be the top edge of the sleigh — like the seat where Santa sits!
Step 2 – Complete the Body Shape
Close off the shape by adding a vertical line on the left, a swooping curve for the backrest on the right, and a long, rounded bottom line to form the base of the sleigh.
Step 3 – Add the Sleigh Runner
Underneath the sleigh, draw a long line that curves up into a spiral at the front. This is the gliding base, called a “runner,” that helps the sleigh slide on snow.
Step 4 – Draw Support Legs
Add two angled lines connecting the sleigh to the runner — one near the front and one at the back. These are the sleigh’s legs or support braces.
Step 5 – Add the Middle Support
To balance the sleigh, draw a third angled leg in the middle. Now your sleigh looks sturdy and ready for snowy adventures!
Step 6 – Draw a Cute Face
Want to make it extra adorable? Add two black ovals for eyes and a smiling mouth to give your sleigh a happy, cartoon personality!
